After receiving her BFA in Photography and minor in Writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Avery Martens now travels documenting the world around her. Immediately after graduating she moved to Istanbul, Turkey and has since been immersing herself in new cultures.

 

Though her documentary esthetic, Avery connects viewers to different cultures, lifestyles and contemporary issues.  With many years of travel and immerse she appreciates and values all cultures and people.
